In fact, ZendStudio is one of the major alternatives to choose (besides Eclipse or Aptana Studio for example), if you want a complete, robust and fully-featured environment, without worrying about system resources of course (If you are a minimalist and/or you just prefer a simple and lightweight editor for your PHP files, then go looking somewhere else).
ZendStudio can be integrated with other Zend products, like the Zend Platform and Zend Core, and comes with support to the Zend Framework (a complete set of classes that solves many common problems for PHP developers).
